Head Chef Wins Prestigious Award

Head Chef Shane Anthony has walked away from the Mold Food Festival with an award for Flintshire Professional Chef of the Year, presented by none other than celebrity Chef Jean Cristoph Novelli!

Cooking in front of a panel of judges, Shane Anthony dished up his winning dish of Buffalo fillet supplied by North Wales Buffalo, sweet potato pont neuf, shallot emulsion, beetroot compote, leek puree, peppercorn jus and finished with red mustard frills and red amarinth.

The judges were Graham Tilsley and Brian Mellor.

Celebrity chef Jean Christoph Novelli later attended our stall at the festival to take part in our  silent disco. We held a competition to win a party worth £2,000 for the best dance but the catch was.. no one else could hear the music!!
