Hotel completes refurbishment in time for Chester Races

The Gateway To Wales Hotel has managed to complete its extensive refurbishment just in time for the prestigious May meeting at Chester races. General Manager Matt Knight said ‘ It is a fantastic achievement to complete the project in time for one of the busiest weeks of the year, the team and the builders have worked tirelessly over recent weeks to ensure everything is ready to go. I would also like to thank our local guests and residents who have been so patient during the much needed works’.

Work begins to transform local hotel.

The front of The Gateway To Wales Hotel is about to undergo a major facelift with the building of a new reception, restaurant and bar at the hotel. Matt Knight, General Manager commented’ The hotels is in need of this kind of transformation, we have already begun work on refurbishing our bedrooms and the new public areas will help the hotel meet the needs of today’s business and leisure traveller’
